// Frequently Asked Questions
What time is drop-off and pick-up? โ–พ
Drop-off is at 9am and pick-up is at 3pm. Please ensure your child arrives on time so they don't miss the warm-up and group introduction at the start of the day.
Does my child need to bring a packed lunch? โ–พ
Yes โ€” please ensure your child arrives with a packed lunch, water bottle and a snack. Due to the physical nature of the sessions, children often get hungry around 90 minutes in. The more they have to pick at, the better!
My child is new to gymnastics โ€” will the camp be suitable? โ–พ
Absolutely. Our camps are designed for all abilities. Children are grouped by ability on arrival, and our coaches ensure every child is only given skills appropriate to their level. No prior gymnastics experience is needed.
What should my child wear? โ–พ
Please can gymnasts arrive in comfortable sports clothes โ€” a t-shirt and shorts, or a leotard. Hair should be tied back. No jewellery or accessories during sessions. Bare feet are required on the gymnastics floor.
Can we book individual days rather than the full week? โ–พ
Yes โ€” see the How to Book guide at the top of this page for step-by-step instructions. You can book individual days or a full week, and there's a 10% discount when booking a full week via the Schedule option.
How does payment work? โ–พ
Our payment system operates via GoCardless Direct Debit. This helps us run sessions smoothly and securely. You are welcome to cancel your direct debit as soon as payment has been collected โ€” usually within 5โ€“7 days. We are unable to accept alternative payment methods.
What is the RISE Award Scheme? โ–พ
RISE is British Gymnastics' nationally recognised progressive award framework. It maps gymnastics skills across multiple levels โ€” from fundamentals through to advanced acrobatics โ€” ensuring every child receives structured, developmental coaching regardless of ability. Our camp programme is built around RISE apparatus skills so your child's progress is meaningful and measurable, not just fun.
What if my child needs a break or feels overwhelmed? โ–พ
We have a dedicated Cosy Corner โ€” a calm space where children can rest or take a break whenever needed. Children are welcome to bring a favourite toy or teddy. We also have an Arts & Crafts Corner for creative downtime. Your child's comfort and enjoyment comes first, always.
I have another question โ€” how do I get in touch? โ–พ
Please email us at admin@hitidegymnastics.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

// Frequently Asked Questions
